The Weeks Bay Reserve hosts periodic workshops for stakeholders, educators, landowners, researchers, and naturalists. These classes study everything from sea-level rise modeling to the future of blue carbon to invasive species identification.
Through the Gulf Coastal Training framework, and with current funding from the Environmental Protection Agency Gulf of Mexico Program, the five Gulf Coast National Estuarine Research Reserve Coastal Training Programs are now working together to bridge the science, policy and management communities on a regional scale. More information about the Training program can be found at www.gulfalliancetraining.org
